International Criminal Court

As part of its strategy of internationalising the Israel-Palestine conflict, the Palestinian Authority has achieved formal membership of the International Criminal Court (ICC).
In response Israel refused for a period to hand over tax revenues which it collects on behalf of Palestine.
Israel is not a member of the International Criminal Court, but Israeli military and political leaders could face prosecution if they are found to have committed crimes on Palestinian soil.
Palestine has not pressed charges in the International Criminal Court against Israelis, probably for the following reasons:
